Courtney A. Turnage, is the President and Financial Advisor at Turnage Wealth Management, and specializes in retirement and tax planning services. As the captain of his firm’s ship, Courtney is responsible for navigating its growth and prosperity for the benefit of both the company and the clients he serves.
Courtney first realized he wanted to pursue a career in financial services after helping his mom plan for retirement with the Teacher’s Retirement System of Texas. During this process he learned what a 403(b) was, and how many people lacked a basic understanding of how to plan properly for retirement. After obtaining his Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Texas, Austin, Courtney began his financial services career in 2004. Today, he holds his Language and Culture Certification from the Lomonosov Moscow State University, and was recognized as a 2015 Five Star Wealth Manager.
When he isn’t educating and helping people plan for a successful financial future, Courtney enjoys golfing, grilling, fishing, and mentoring individuals who are looking for guidance in their life. He currently resides in Garden Ridge, Texas with his wife and their three young children.
